There are eggs being laid everywhere,

In trees and on the ground.

What do you think will hatch from them? 

Who do you think’ll come out?

Will she have a long, sharp, yellow beak? 

Will he have a flattish snout?

Let’s explore the creatures that

Hatch out of many eggs.

Will they have scales or feathers? 

Zero?  Two?  Four?  Eight long legs?

We’re not tellin’ who we’ll see,

‘Cuz it’s a big surprise!
