ARTS ALIVE! provides results-driven professional development training, presentations, and events. We provide educators with powerful tools, strategies and resources to tap into the learning potential of each and every one of their students in an engaging and entertaining way.
Tina Sabuco, Artistic Director and owner of ARTS ALIVE! Inc., holds a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Drama and Children’s Theatre from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from Northern Michigan University. She began dancing at age three in her hometown of Escanaba, Michigan, and has never stopped! Since 1994, Tina has combined her drama and dance backgrounds with music and visual art to offer an integrated arts program for “children” of all ages and abilities through ARTS ALIVE! Inc. Her teaching methodologies combined with her extensive and varied teaching experiences garner her frequent assignments training other teachers. Tina delights in teaching “children” from 1 to 101 and looks forward to continuing to live out her personal motto – “You don’t stop playing because you grow old. You grow old because you stop playing!”;

Dance in your Pants
Come experience one of ARTS ALIVE!’s most popular themes as we shake and kick and stomp and hop and “dance through the decades.” We will help you explore everything from the Can Can to the Twist! This workshop is great for teachers of all ages and levels babies to big kids.
Preschool Prop Paradise
Experience over a dozen different props that can be used to add fun and excitement to your classroom. Through integrated arts, participants will be shown creative techniques and taught how to find and make these inexpensive “lifesavers.” Suggestions on how to incorporate props into your thematic lesson plans and transition times will be discussed. Included will be streamers, scarves, bubbles, hoops, instruments, hats, puppets and much more! This workshop can be adapted to teach any age “ – infant through primary.
It’s Never Too Early to Boogie to the Beat
Participants will learn new ways to use old songs, and learn new songs that can be used in many ways in this action packed session specially created for teachers who work with infants (and/or toddlers). We will be dancing and singing and moving to our own unique beats.
The Magic of Movement and Music
Come ready to play! By incorporating movement, dance, music, and creative drama in the toddler, preschool or school-age classroom, participants will learn how to open doors for students with various learning styles. You will leave with a new bag full of tricks in your pocket and a smile in your heart! In addition, YOU choose which of the over 50 themes you would like us to feature.

We will lead you through excerpts of our thematic lesson plans including Rodeo Roundup, Fairy Fantasy, Gorgeous Garden, Insect Invasion, Jungle Jamboree, Superhero Summit, Wonderful World of Water and Off to the Olympics.
