Years of careful work and analysis on our part has gone into the development of the ARTS ALIVE! programs. While we have seen the positive impact of our programs over the arch of the lives of so many of our students, the benefits are also proven and research-based!
Early elementary-aged students explore reading comprehension,
decision making, and communication during our Zany Zoo.
The following summarizes findings from an independent research analysis conducted by Dr. Adam Saenz of the ARTS ALIVE! curriculum.
Research regarding the role of dance/creative movement, drama, music, and art shows robust findings to support these activities as valid learning modalities for preschool and early elementary-age children. In addition, research endorses the early acquisition of social skills, fine motor skills, receptive language, expressive language, and emotional regulation skills as essential in children’s capacity to engage the learning process. ARTS ALIVE! incorporates drama, dance, music, and visual art in each and every one of our programs creating an environment that builds the whole child and sets them up for success in all areas of life!
