The horses of the farm

Love their work.  Oh yes, it’s true!

But sometimes they dream of other kinds

Of horsey things to do.

Oh to be a queen’s horse,

Round the castle watch them prance.

Or a sleigh horse jingling through the snow. 

Just watch those big hooves dance.

Magic’s round the corner. 

Look!  A unicorn I spy!

And isn’t that a Pegasus

With wings a-flying by?

Carousel and rocking horse

And seahorses that dive.
