With an emphasis on SEL (social and emotional learning), we provide educators with results-driven powerful tools and strategies to tap into the learning potential of each and every one of their students in an engaging and joyful way.
Since our beginnings in 1994, Arts Alive! has been on the forefront of social and emotional learning. The foundation of our philosophy is “Embrace the Spirit of the Child.” By embracing the strengths of young children – their natural ability of movement, imagination and joy – we have developed proven techniques and strategies to create successful learning environments for all students. Using the Arts Alive! method and philosophy, educators can help students to unlock parts of the brain that are not typically developed in a traditional academic setting.
Together we can Ignite the Joy in the children in our lives!
Experience the JOY of Arts Alive! with our professional development events. We will teach you how to Ignite the Joy with step-by-step guides incorporating our methods, techniques and strategies.
Come ready to play and learn!
Social and emotional learning creates positive and confident students which leads to success in life and in school. Studies show that SEL can be taught, modeled and practiced and we have the methods to do so!
Arts Alive! was created in 1994 to bring to life the expressive arts – dance, movement, drama, and visual arts. Using play-based thematic lessons, we take the children through a journey of imagination exploration teaching physical, cognitive, social and emotional skills. We speak the “Arts Alive! language” of acceptance and inclusion, providing a successful learning environment for each student we encounter where they feel safe and valued. Facilitating this learning environment, children are free to tap into their natural abilities of movement, imagination and joy.
This is Embracing the Spirit of the Child.
In recent years, research has consistently shown the many benefits of play-based learning and social and emotional learning. Arts Alive! has perfected a technique of bringing all of this together.
